Kitchen drawer conversion

This was a fix to a storage issue. Originally the kitchen had a full height built in fridge / freezer but the freezer was not working well. It wasn't needed due to another fridge freezer in an outbuilding so it was just replaced with a fridge. Because built in white goods (in the UK) are normally inside a standard base unit, it was a relatively easy task to repurpose the cupboard. The drawer frames were made from kitchen unit plinth because it gave the desired colour and a size that meant not wasting too much material. The heights and overall sizes were made to suit the pans and items that were going to be stored. The drawer bases were made from laminate flooring, I've used this method a number of times because often the big DIY stores will sell ends of range off cheap and it's strong and robust.
