So today the latest lockdown was voted through.
Another challenging time for so many people in so many ways..
I‘m not about to comment on the overall situation, there’s enough comment, rumour and disagreement flying about already.
However, if there’s ever a time that suits the development of DIY skills, now would be it.
DIY can save you money, keep you occupied and might give you a different environment to live or work in. Remember, DIY doesn’t have to be a construction or decorating project even if that’s the traditional view of it. DIY can extend to extend to anything you wouldn’t normally do if you tackle it yourself. Maybe DIY is even too restrictive a term. Maybe you could work to develop a new skill on the computer, read (or even start writing) a book.
‘The thing is, try not to look at lockdown as a restriction or confinement, try to “convert it” to an opportunity.
