Faber Castell Pencil & Sharpener

A pencil and sharpener? Really?

I saw the Fabre Castell factory on the “Inside the Factory” tv program. They were claiming their pencils are stronger than most.

Something that really gets me is when you go to use a pencil and the tip breaks off. You sharpen it and it immediately breaks again. So I brought some of the Faber Castell ones to try. I have to say I like them. They’re not unbreakable, especially if you drop one off a roof but they are a world better than the box of supermarket pencils I had.

I also got the purpose built sharpener which has a pocket clip and it sits clipped on my notebook all day (and sharpens perfectly)
