Marxman marking tool

It really is rare for me to actually be impressed by something but this impressed me.
If you’ve ever tried fixing something to a wall that entails marking through a deep hole you’ll know what I mean.
So for instance, you have a piece of 80mm x 40mm that you’ve put a hole for a screw in. You want to mark the hole position on a wall so you can drill it for a wall plug but you don’t have a super thin pencil to put through the timber. Simple!! Put the Marxman against the outside of the wood, give it a quick press and it shoots a dot of marking chalk onto the wall in the position you need.

It’s one of those “damn I wish I’d thought of that” things.
